Steps to prevent listeriosis disease

Hey Friends! We have observed an increase in the number of reported listeriosis disease cases and saw the need to help make YOU more aware of how to prevent yourself from catching the nation-wide outbreak.

Prevention;

  1. Thoroughly cook raw food from animal sources.
  2. Do not give your child unpasteurized dairy products.
  3. Wash raw vegetables.
  4. Store ready-to-eat foods at 40°F or lower.
  5. Keep uncooked meats separate from vegetables.
  6. Wash your hands, as well as knives and cutting boards, after they've touched uncooked foods.
