Myself and Tracy Lee were part of the #Drugsaretrash campaign in mitchell's plain over the weekend. 20 schools entered 15 primary and 5 high schools. It was so amazing as it was a #streetstyle #recycle fashion show geared towards ending drug abuse as well as addictions in their area. The young people had strong messages like the one board that says " Tik maak jou hik"
The main drug problems in Mitchell's plain are crystal meth (tik),heroine(Unga)and buttons (mandrax) it was amazing to be a part of this initiative, it was special to see young children sending a strong message to their community that they will no longer tolerate drug abuse in their streets.
The people of Mitchell's plain received us with love, we enjoyed every moment.
Congratulations to all 20 schools who took part!
