This week on HecticNine9 is all about the brain! So we'll be doing great deal of fact finding and debunking myths.
For me, my brain activity (or lack thereof) came to a lull over this past weekend when I had an injury and was given medicine by the doctor. Now, I am all here for the work that doctors do and am well aware that medicine can help a great deal.
But man can it suck sometimes!
Hate - too strong of a word an even stronger emotion - accompanied the "it's time for your MEDs" chime from the alarm. (Sigh...)
I'm not being dramatic am I? But am I the only one who feels like medicine can really mess up your brain's usual schedule. Imagine: I've planned - forget the week, just the day - but the second I take my prescription I'm like:
Geniuses of the universe, is there a way that I can somehow trick my brain into not getting sleepy after taking my medicine? And if not, could you please do me a favour and invent one?
