Spring Skin Care Tips

Spring has sprung! Time to bring out those cute shorts and adorable T-shirts. But before you go outside and start smelling those roses, here are a few things to note for the Springtime:

  1. Embrace the Breakout.

It is completely okay to have more skin breakouts during Spring. The weather gets warmer and the skin has to adjust to the new conditions. This means that your skin gets oily and greasy and it all gets trapped on the surface of your skin. This is what causes the breakouts.

  1. Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate.

One way that you can battle the breakouts is by exfoliation. Exfoliation removes all the dead skin cells from your face, allowing for new, fresh cells to emerge. Exfoliating leaves your skin fresh and healthy, and keeps acne and breakouts to a minimum.

  1. SPF is your BFF!

Wearing sunscreen is not just for Summer, it is important during Spring too. Exposure to harsh UV rays of the sun, speeds up ageing in the face, and sunscreen helps to keep your face young and fresh. I mean, wouldn’t we all love to look younger for longer?

  1. HYDRATE!

Heat makes you sweat, and sweat naturally dehydrates the body. Making you feel lazy and tired. The sun only accelerates the dehydration process. By drinking water and staying hydrated, you compensate for all the lost fluids in your body, and keep yourself energized and focused.

If you remember to apply these tips to your lifestyle, you will have a gorgeous Spring ahead of you. If we did leave out any other helpful tips and tricks on keeping cool during these summer months, please let us know. We would love to look as fabulous as you guys.
