What does SADAG do

SADAG (South African Depression and Anxiety Group) is a non-profit organisation and is the leading voice of patient advocacy in the mental health sector, working in urban, peri-urban and the most rural communities across South Africa.

SADAG offers training at various levels, including support group leaders, peer councillors and progressing to the training and development of recognised mental health counsellors in the healthcare sector.

SADAG has on its Board a powerful team of patients, psychiatrists and psychologists which serves as a support network for thousands of South Africans who live with mental health problems and other associated disorders such as HIV/AIDS, TB and Substance Abuse.

If you want any more information about SADAG and what it does or if you or someone you know may need some help please visit their website SADAG.org or contact them on 011 234 4837 or 0800 20 50 26 and speak to a trained counsellor who can assist you further.
