Simple butternut soup recipe
Soup is one of the few foods that are truly universal. No matter where in the world you go there will be a culture-specific soup for you to experience and enjoy. Maybe it’s because of how easy it is to make, how healthy you can make it or just how you can throw whatever you have leftover into a pot and seeing what happens soup is all-inclusive.

During this chilly winter season soup can really become our best friend, as it can warm you up on those cold evenings and has several health benefits. Since butternut is an excellent source of beta carotene and potassium it can improve eye health as well as work to lower your blood pressure. If you would like to try some for yourself, here is a super easy recipe for some delicious butternut soup

Ingredients:
- Butternut x1
- Onion x1
- Carrot x2 (Optional)
- Mixed herb spices
