Poem for Africa - Homeland Within my soul, within my mind, There lies a place I cannot find. Home of my heart. Land of my birth. Smoke-coloured stone and flame-coloured earth. Electric skies. Shivering heat. Blood-red clay beneath my feet. At night when finally alone, I close my eyes - and I am home. I kneel and touch the blood-warm sand And feel the pulse beneath my hand Of an ancient life too old to name, In an ancient land too wild to tame. How can I show you what I feel? How can I make this essence real? I search for words in dumb frustration

I just finished writing a song...well all it needs is a hook...aka a chorus! Had a great breakfast... Going off to the gym @ 10:30 Then im going to prepare my business meeting and prepare for tonight's gig. Im singing at a gala evening in stellenbosch,the land of tamaties which is a tomato thats why they are called maties,truth!Really exited,i actually just feel like singing! Hope you have a fantastic day.Im off to Swaziland in a few days...CANT WAIT!!!

Had the most fantastic time in swaziland...got to meet our swazi fans and chatted to them.the gig itself was amazing the place was packed and i had a jacuzzi in my room nothing went wrong...cant wait to go again!thank you to everyone that was involved much love

After the long break off live tv things have changed a lot all the presenters went on to do there own thing but now things are starting to get back to normal...being the 1st one going live with grant i must admit i was very nervous but that's normal too...REALLY exited to get things started and im sure the other presenters are too!
