Like I always say fashion and style is an opinion. So be careful before your judge someone else's look it might be the next runway hit.
When I was in high school I had a girl constantly bully me because I wore pointy shoes, she even called me Liewe Heksie the witch but the next year everyone including her wore a pair on civvies day.
So due to the fact that I don't believe in telling people what are fashion no no's I love telling people about fashion no no's that became pop culture yes'
A lot of people love Uggs probably as many people who hate them I personally LOVE the look when I am having a Taylor Swift country moment or feeling like dressing Aussie Style. A big number of people who don't like uggs are against them because genuine uggs are made with sheepskin.
2. Pattern on pattern
Wearing lots of different patterns with each other was always considered a BIG no no but it is a trend that has hit fashion with a bang. Presently in SA Designer Chu Suwannapha fashion director of You, HuisGenoot and Drum magazines is heading the trend. I am excited to see his collection st Menswear Fashion Week in Cape Town this week.
3. thick Eyebrows:
Gone are the days of thin or even drawn out eyebrows, let them grow free but keep them neat. Models like Cara Delevenge and Snow White Star Lilly Collins
4. Sock and Sandals:
I must admit I always loved this trend and it comes and goes. Like most trends this is either a look people like or don't. I love being able to wear my favorite summer shoes with frilly socks in winter.
5. over accessorizing:
There is only one thing to say more is more and I love it. With tons of different accessorize to match your personality you can use your bling to say your thing.
6. over sized sweaters and clothing:
Gone are the days this was seen as messy or lazy dressing, the perfect oversize is perfect for any occasion and you can wear up or down.
No matter what keep an open mind fashion is there to have fun with and express yourself. Let us know in the Comments below how YOU express yourself!
In love and style
