No to Litter, Re-Use and RECYCLE

As we look around our beautiful country we all too often see plastic bottles, cans, glass bottles, polystyrene containers and cups, plastic bags, paper and a whole lot of other rubbish littering our streets, our parks, alongside our highways, our neighbourhoods, our shopping areas, our rivers and many other places in our environment. Its time we take responsibility for our planet.

Does it matter if we litter?

Yes and we should care!

Why?

Litter is both an environmental and social issue. Its unsightly, cost money to clean up, kills rivers and It diminishes the pride people have in their environment.

Why do people litter?

Lack of respect for others or the environment! And some just don't know better!

What can we do to make a difference?

Be aware of your surroundings , Action - put your litter in the bin and most importantly educate others when they litter.
