Claim to Fame: The original nutty scientist .When I was 8, I accused my mother of drinking some of my chemical muti. When I was in matric, I made one of the biggest bangs ever. At University I even learned how to make atom bombs. I still have fun and am still learning.

What's the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning? What I can do to make the world a happier place.

What is a.) your favourite smell and b.) your least favourite smell: a.) Beautiful clean hair b.) Rotten fish

Fav tech toy/website: My superspeed silver laptop and google, google everytime - it takes you everywhere.

First job: Carrying survey pegs down a copper mine in the Northern Cape.

What would you say is the single most fulfilling part of what you do? Making life safer and richer for everyone
