This is a poem/song I wrote in 2010 on a long sleepless night, I think, or was it a boring afternoon? Either way, I came across it today as I was sorting out some old books and papers. When I read it, it put a smile on my face and I just had to share it with all of you. I hope it brightens your day!


I love you, like juice and coke.

Juice because it's tasty.
Coke because it's gassy.

Delicious over bubbling love,
love that fizzes when you shake it about.
Love that comes from natures fruit,
love that gives you a natural boost.

I love you just like juice and coke
if you drink them together you'll probably choke,
but yeah yeah   -juice and coke

juice that's fresh
coke that's a sticky mess.

Oh how I love you
like delicious juice and coke.
