The Yellow Carpet of the #Sama18

Millions in the country were glued to their screens to watch the live broadcast of the MTN South African Music Awards (SAMA). This year marked the 18^th year of the biggest music award ceremony in South Africa as they returned to their birth place - Sun City, Johannesburg.

Bonang Matheba and Zizo Beda were the Yellow carpet hosts. They set the standards and looked beautiful! Well done to Gert Johan Coetzee who styled Bonang again, she wore a one arm baby pink fitted dress, draped all the way to the bottom – stunning. Zizo Beda wore a strapless dress, she mentioned the designer, someone I don't know, but the dress suited her well, so props to that guy. 

The girls managed the Yellow carpet well. I don't know about managing the celebrities when it came to fashion - it was glory to be shamed, disaster! Jen Su mara this mama, always gets it wrong, I love her to bits but she must try getting locals to dress her, they might do a better job *said with love*!

Da Les and Ismael looked like they were going down town in Newtown. I can never understand the hip hop look. Well done to L-tido for looking clean, elegant and for not wearing shades indoors like Zakwe. Zakwe, the new guy in the music scene from Durban, I never understood the hype when it came to him, he wore the township shoe 'carvella' ya ne *cover my eyes*

MiCasa looked stunning on the yellow carpet; they were all wearing grey suits. The Queen of the awards Zahara was dressed my NN vintage, a beautiful red lace number, open at the back. The make-up and hair Daaaarrrrrling, she tried to rock fake eyelashes that didn't suit her, she's the girl from the rural area in Eastern Cape, I like her natural.

Minnie Dlamini looked amazing in her white dress, I don't know why she changed when she presented an award, she should have worn the white dress she rocked on the yellow carpet.

The Divo of SA as he claims to be Somizi dressed by David Tlale, was chest-out for the public to see, I don't know if he was showing off his tattoos or what! He also bragged about the heels he was wearing by Alexander Mcqueen, a lot. 

Khuli Roberts well... Y’all know how I love this woman. This year she was dressed by Fundunzi and all for supporting the environment on the yellow carpet, recycling and all. 

Well done to Melinda Bam current Miss SA who wore a beautiful yellow dress.
Boity looked stunning too, and Top Billing presenter Lorna Maseko rocked a gold disco dress by Thula Sindi. Victory lap AKA wore a gold suit – interesting!
